Surgical risks

Long-term risks

There is a myth that points out that those women who had Tubal Ligation surgery would be likely to have irregular menstrual cycles. This is not true. Irregular menstrual cycles are more likely caused by Birth Control Pills that Tubal Ligation. When a woman has been taking the Birth Control Pills for a long time, her menstrual cycles are actually influenced by the pills. A sudden stop of taking these pills will shock her body menstrual cycles.
Having said all of that, there are also many advantages that come with those risks. They are:

- Practical with no daily maintenance.
- Decrease Ovarian Cancer Risk for certain women
- For the long run, it is economical.
- Very effective (95% success rate).
